Acting on Behalf of RMTs

• Encourages unity within the profession
• Negotiates with MSP, ICBC, WorkSafe BC, RCMP, and DVA to ensure funding of RMT services
• Develops Public Relations programs and publications for public education
• Maintains relationship with other health professions
• Conducts and co-ordinates research studies and research symposiums
• Works with the CMTBC on your behalf
• Represents RMTs with the Health Professions Council Review of Massage Therapy Scope of Practice
• Runs our central office for daily assistance to the membership.
• Educates and maintains communication between stakeholders ranging from Government to extended health insurance groups
• Hosts AGMs and SAGMs to allow RMTs to meet and exchange information and ideas
